Creating Business Partnerships with Like-Minded People

"We make money by making friends, and we enlarge our circle of friends by making money for them, by helping them, by becoming of service to them."
--Charles F. Haanel (The Master Key System)

For years, I hated the word "networking." It brought to my mind images of pretentious people at cocktail parties who faked interests in others for their own selfish gains. While that image still may be accurate in some instances, the truth remains that successful people (and potentially successful people) need each other, especially if they share the same vision.

Imagine yourself making money doing what you love with one or more partners who share your passion and your belief in the Law of Attraction. They may be face-to-face partners or online partners, whichever you prefer. Feel the joy that comes doing what you love with others who are equally enthused. Visualize you and your partner(s) enjoying the "work" you do together. It feels more like play than work. All partners involved bringing their unique talents and resources to the table. Everyone involved is using the Law of Attraction Imagine to create amazing success to the entire team.

This same principle can be applied to nonprofit charity work. For example, if you want to start a scholarship fund, then you can use the Law of Attraction to create partnerships with others who can help you make this dream a reality.

If your goal is to create one or more profitable businesses, some reservations you may have about partnerships may include:

  • "I'd rather go it alone than split the profits with someone else. I can make more money if I do this by myself."
  • "It's not a good idea to go into business with friends. It could lead to a falling out."
  • "I'm afraid I'll end up doing most of the work."
  • "I'm afraid I'll choose the wrong partner and he'll end up cheating me out of the money."
  • "I don't want to ask anyone for help. And I certainly don't want to take advantage of anyone."
  • "No seasoned professional in this field would want to partner with someone as inexperienced as me."

All of the above statements will be true for you...if you choose them to be your reality. But if you believe that you create your own reality through the Law of Attraction, then you can replace these thoughts.

  • "I am making more money and enjoying more success now that I have the right business partners."
  • "I attract the right friends who share my vision of success and want to be a part of it. I enjoy the work I do so much more now that I have friends working with me."
  • "I see myself working with others who bring value, originality, and creativity to this project. We are all pleased with each other's efforts."
  • "I am attracting compassionate, ethical people who want to partner with me."
  • "Everyone who partners with me benefits greatly. I win and they win."
  • "Seasoned professionals are impressed with my talents, my enthusiasm, and my vision."

While working on your own is fine, especially if that is something you prefer to do, but imagine the synergy that you and others can create through the Law of Attraction. If you want to create multiple sources of income as Bob Proctor suggests, then you can partner with different people on different projects. Use your intuition and good common sense when selecting partners and use the Law of Attraction to bring you the people who possess the qualities you would like your business partners to have.

One of the biggest things that holds us back is fear. If we can take the mental step to release fear and replace it with positive thinking, we will make great strides forward. Face your fears, and realize they can hold you back, then move past them in confidence.

Namaste.

Thank you, Deborah. I'm learning to let go of worry. Since I've written this, I've continued to say to myself, "Expecting everything to work out makes everything work out." And it works.

Our perspective is developed from our life experience. We have a choice to continue making the same mistakes and expecting different results, or to experience a profound change. Most of us have a fear of change. Success is a profound change. Failure is more comfortable to most of us... We all are insecure.. It is up to us to "manage."
